Browse Better, My Ass

Microsoft is running an ad campaign for it’s Internet Explorer 8 web browser.

First off, the fact that Microsoft is having to advertise it’s browser says something. Secondly, these ads are just stupid.

I will admit, I did chuckle.

Online iPhone 3GS Availability Database

Apple has set up an iPhone 3GS availability database. Now you can check to see if your local Apple store has a particular model in stock.

And then there was no more porn

Apple, un-surprisingly, has pulled the latest version of “Hottest Girls” from the app store. As you may, or may not have remembered, the update was permitted on the App Store a few days ago, which allowed users to view nude photos.

The app was originally pulled off the store by the developer because of server load, then Apple later permanently removed the app, and released a told CNN stating that they would not allow “porn” on the store.

I normally have no complaints about Apple, but they need to sit down and seriously rethink their App Store approval process.

YouTube sees 400% increase in mobile uploads after iPhone 3GS launch

The fact that the number of mobile uploads went up doesn’t surprise me. What does surprise me, is how dramatically they went up.

And then there was Porn

Macenstein is reporting that Apple has allowed an update to the “Hottest Girls” app. The big deal? This update allows users to view nude photos, indicating Apple is relaxing it’s App Store restricons.

Can’t wait to see the flurry of trashy porn apps flood into the App Store.

CNBC: Steve Jobs Already Back at Work

If this is really the case, and Jobs is back at Apple, I suspect we might see an official press release any day now.

I will point out that simply seeing him on campus, doesn’t mean he is back to work. Duh.
