Microsoft’s Creative Destruction
Here is a New York Times OP-ED by Dick Brass, who was a Vice President at Microsoft from 1997-2004. The nut of his argument is that Microsoft seems to be getting trampled in consumer electronic, and won’t do as well as it could until Microsoft “regains its creative spark.” I’ll argue that Microsoft has never had a “creative spark.”
Regardless, Brass gives a unique view inside the beast.
